Speaker: Laslene Glymph
Location: The Capital City Club
The desire of Laslene Glymph's heart is to obey God so He can use her for His glory. She says, "Obedience and faith are interwoven because obedience to God is a demonstration of faith in Him; in other words, "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?" (Luke 6:46). In 2013, God gave Laslene the vision for Glory Sabbatical House, Inc. with the mission to provide pastoral families places of temporary lodging with an environment conducive to meet their sabbatical needs.
As Laslene obediently develops this ministry, she has learned lessons she can teach us about following God when He tells you to change course.
As Founder and Chief Editor of Living Real Magazine, Melanie provides a platform for others to tell how they live out their faith in Jesus Christ and what that looks like in real, everyday life. The first issue of Living Real hit the streets in September of 2009. Her love for writing has evolved into blogging, magazine articles, Bible studies, and devotions.
