Discovering True Freedom to become all God created you to be

With the July 4th celebration ringing in our ears, we will think about what True Freedom is all about. After more than 30 years of ministry to women, including ministry in the prisons of S.C., Delaine believes there are 3 primary things that imprison the hearts and minds of women, keeping them from becoming all God created them to be, and she is absolutely convinced there is only one person who holds the key to being truly free!

About Delanie

Delaines Bible teaching ministry reaches women in other cities, states and nations, but her heartbeat is for the women in Columbia, South Carolina, where, as Teaching Director of Community Bible Study (CBS), she disciples leaders and teaches about 300 women each week. She is also a founder and trustee of Joy of Abiding, an international Bible teaching ministry to women. She loves exploring God’s Word with women whether the context is exploring the ancient streets of Old Jerusalem or in their homes, churches, workplaces or even among prison cells. Delaine grew up in Greer, SC, graduated with a BA degree from Furman University and an M Ed from the University of South Carolina. She taught special needs children in schools across the state, and, as an educator, served on the boards of Ben Lippen School and Columbia International University. From the time Delaine was a little girl, she has loved the church of Christ and delights to worship with her church family at First Presbyterian Church downtown. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Mike, for 44 years and is the mother of two sons and grandmother of nine.
